Privacy & Cookie Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your data.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

1. Data Controller

The data controller responsible for this website is King Property Ltd, trading as Fawley Contractor Stays. Our ICO registration number is ZB553135.

You can contact us regarding your personal data by emailing info@fawleycontractorstays.co.uk. Our full postal address is available on request by email.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily submit an enquiry through the form on our booking page. The details collected are your name, email address, phone number, a message, the property you are interested in, and the dates requested.

Important reassurance: These details are emailed straight to our team and are not stored in the website's database. Our website database only stores property availability (property reference, dates, booked/available status), which contains no personal data whatsoever.

This website has no user accounts, no logins, and no payment processing capabilities, meaning no passwords or payment card details are ever handled by us.

3. Lawful Bases for Processing

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), our lawful bases for processing this information are:

  • Enquiry handling: Article 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
  • Analytics: Article 6(1)(a) — your explicit consent.

4. Cookies and Tracking

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to understand how visitors interact with our website and to remember your cookie preferences.

The fcs-cookie-consent-v1 record is strictly necessary to run the site smoothly as it exists purely to honour your privacy choices. Therefore, it requires no prior consent to set.

Google Consent Mode v2

Our website employs Google Consent Mode v2. This means that absolutely no analytics or advertising cookies are set on your device until you press "Accept" on our cookie banner. Before you make a choice, Google only receives anonymous, cookieless signals that cannot be used to identify you. If you press "Reject", no analytics cookies are ever set. Furthermore, Google Analytics 4 does not log or retain visitors' IP addresses.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We never sell your data and we never add you to a marketing list. We only share data with trusted third-party processors who help operate our services:

  • Resend — Delivers the enquiry email to our team.
  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) — Provides website traffic analytics (if you consent).
  • Floot — Provides our website hosting infrastructure.

Where a processor transfers data outside the UK, we ensure it is protected by UK-approved safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Data Retention

Enquiry emails from individuals who do not go on to book accommodation with us are kept for 12 months and then deleted. If an enquiry results in an actual booking, the relevant records are kept longer where needed to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

7. Your Data Rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Right of access: You can ask us for copies of your personal information.
  • Right to rectification: You can ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate.
  • Right to erasure: You can ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Right to restriction of processing: You can ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.
  • Right to object to processing: You can object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability: You can ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you.
  • Right to withdraw consent: Where you have provided consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@fawleycontractorstays.co.uk. We respond to all requests within one month.

If you have concerns about our use of your personal data, you can complain to the ICO by visiting ico.org.uk or calling their helpline on 0303 123 1113.

8. Security

We are committed to keeping your personal data secure. Data transferred between your browser and our website is encrypted over HTTPS. Access to any personal information we hold is strictly limited to team members who require it to perform their duties.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended exclusively for adult contractors and corporate procurement teams. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may occasionally update this Privacy & Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
